Things people spend could their money on....

Sometimes on my flights I peruse the always handy Skymall magazine. This seat pocket veteran is always filled with an eclectic if not random assortment of items that someone, subsisting off a lower volume of oxygen, may or may not consider purchasing. Here are some of my most recent finds:

"Not only am I stress free, but my hair looks great and the aliens can no longer hear my thoughts. Although, I think I am having a conversation with my cat now."

Speaking of cats......
A picture is worth a thousand words, but a VIDEO?????? Sign me up!

Best part of the ad says your cat will learn to use the toilet before you can potty train your kids.....sad

Speaking of slow kids....."Laura never could figure out how to leave the house and spent her remaining days eating Cheetos and watching Friends reruns."

I actually laughed out loud regarding the image below. I imagine their marketing department didn't want to use the tag line "get more work done lying on your back than ever before!!!!!"

If this guy was sitting next to me, I'd pop his pillow just for entertainment. Come on people, really????

Last but not least, your yard is not complete without the token "Yeti" to frighten children, stray animals, Jehovah witnesses and yourself when you're up getting that midnight drink of water. Another epic failure.

I hope you enjoyed this edition of "random crap they try to sell on an airplane."

Happy traveling!

Location:In the sky

Above it all

Come on up, the view is great!

Breathtaking

I always enjoy such majestic and picturesque scenery.

WHY?!?!?

Sometimes it just hurts.

It's not mine. It's a rental.

Often I find myself driving rental cars that I would never purchase myself. Through these experiences I find I can better inform friends and family of the caveats of said vehicles. This past week I drove this:

I can appreciate the rugged appeal and the youthful feel, but pack your earplugs for the freeway and DO NOT try to take a corner at 35 mph! (just a heads up! I may or may not have teared up on a few turns). Overall it was fun to drive though once you get the hang of it. Happy Driving!

You scream, I scream we all scream for.....

I have discovered the holy Grail of ice cream yet again. I once found them in Ohio and have now found them in Pennsylvania. It's never a surprise that they have 4 order windows open and no less than 20-30 people in each line. Try the butter pecan, you won't be disappointed.
